ECA, as part of a team led by Castlerock Asia, is supporting the Indonesian government in defining policy actions to support the sustainable and inclusive development of the country’s energy sector. Successful completion of key actions will trigger access to Asian Development Bank loans to support the ongoing expansion of energy supplies. ECA’s team is focused on advising on improving budget subsidy mechanisms for electricity, the implementation of key gas market reforms based on earlier studies undertaken by ECA and on the cost-effective electrification in remote areas.
