The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has contracted ECA, in combination with the Ministry of Energy and Industry, to prepare a new National Energy Efficiency Action Plan (NEEAP) for Albania. The new NEEAP is intended to comply with the requirements of the Energy Efficiency Directive being adopted by Energy Community countries and help provide a comprehensive framework for placing energy efficiency (EE) at the heart of energy policy in Albania. The work will assess progress to date on EE previous actions undertaken and make recommendations on the selection and energy saving potential of future actions.
