ABOUT ECA / TEAM
Alex joined ECA as an Analyst in 2020. He has worked on projects spanning the electricity, water, and gas sectors in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. His work has included modelling the impact of water tariffs, advising electricity regulators on price controls, preparing training workshops on resource planning, and conducting social and environmental impact assessments. He has also worked on desk-based studies focused on the institutional aspects of water provision.
Alex holds an MSc in Local Economic Development from the London School of Economics, from which he also holds a BSc in Geography with Economics. At the LSE he developed strong econometric and GIS skills. He previously also worked as a research assistant at the LSE examining the design and implementation of innovation testbeds in the EU. Alex is a native English and German speaker.
