ECA are supporting Eco Ltd in the provision of technical assistance to the Government of Georgia with the development of an Energy Efficiency Law. The new law will implement the requirements of the Energy Efficiency Directive (2012/27/EU) as transposed for Energy Community Contracting Parties. It will act as the legislative basis for realising the policies laid out in the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan (NEEAP) for Georgia. ECA will support the work by leading on the Regulatory Impact Assessment of the new law and assessment of its financial implications.
