On 22 October 2020, the Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAE) approved the allowed revenue methodology for the Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator (HEDNO), which was subsequently published in the Greek Government Gazette on 26 October 2020. The methodology was designed and developed by RAE in close collaboration with ECA’s Athens team with the intention of providing an unambiguous framework and incentives for efficient distribution network investment and operation. It also helps pave the way for the Government’s imminent partial privatisation of HEDNO.
