ECA, together with BRE and Karanovic/Partners, is extending support previously provided to North Macedonia by the REEP Plus programme for the drafting and adoption of the Law on Energy Efficiency, in preparing relevant secondary legislation, compliant with the requirements of the Energy Performance in Buildings and Energy Efficiency Directives. This is the first of two phases comprising a detailed gap analysis and the development of tailored options for implementation in the country, given local circumstances and the flexibility afforded by the EU Directives.
