ECA recently presented its draft review of options for expanding the electricity grids in PNG at a workshop attended by approximately 100 stakeholders. The IFC-supported review includes identifying and evaluating the main generation and transmission investment options, with a strong focus on Independent Power Producers (IPPs) and serving large new industrial/mining customers.
