Frederik is Managing Director of ECA with experience in energy policy issues and energy infrastructure economics. He holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Economics from the University of Warwick. Frederik advises governments, international finance institutions, development agencies and private investors on natural gas, electricity and sustainable energy projects. Frederik’s core area of expertise is in natural gas markets, where his expertise primarily covers financial and commercial analyses, pricing issues, security of supply assessments, regional infrastructure development, masterplan studies and regulatory economics. He has also conducted projects in the electricity sector covering renewable energy support mechanisms, infrastructure programme reviews and social cost benefit analyses.
