Analyst

Sahajleen joined ECA in May 2024, following her role as an Economic Analyst at the Low Carbon Business Unit of Gemserv. During her tenure at Gemserv, she worked on a range of decarbonisation initiatives, with a particular focus on heat and buildings in the UK. She conducted analyses tailored to diverse assignments, ranging from district energy solutions to evaluating the economic and social costs of domestic fires.

Sahajleen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Delhi University, India, and a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Warwick. Her dissertation focused on quantifying the impact of age at first marriage on women’s autonomy in the Indian context.
