ECA led a full-day workshop in April for stakeholders from The Gambia, on key issues for the proposed mini-grid policy and regulatory framework which ECA is developing for the country. Stakeholders came from the Government of The Gambia, NAWEC (the national electricity and water company), PURA (the electricity regulator), the private sector, civil society, and the donor community. Financial support for the assignment is from the Sustainable Energy Fund for Africa.
