ECA will be assisting DFID by analysing the efficiency of different aid-supported programs for providing electricity through solar-home-systems (SHS) to unelectrified rural households in Tanzania. The work will compare the different implementation and business models for private off-grid solar PV and assist Tanzania to offer SHS through cost-effective measures to its rural population.
