A role for utility-scale solar power in Botswana’s coal-dominated matrix? By conducting RE resource assessments, a review of the electricity sector and energy-system modelling; ECA and technical partners are supporting the Government of Botswana and the World Bank in answering this question and defining a strategy, roadmap and investment plan for renewables.
