ECA is providing an update to the Consumer Council for Water (CCWater) on the financial performance of water companies in the UK. Results are benchmarked against previous performance from the 2009 Price Review to determine the areas in which companies have performed strongly or otherwise. Following our initial review of performance during the current review period, CCWater was able to work with the water companies to generate savings of around £1 billion to water consumers across the UK.
