Federico Hinrichs has 7 years’ of experience in the field of renewable energy as an engineer, project developer and consultant. Before joining ECA in August 2013, he worked for a solar energy company based in Kenya and active internationally in Sub-Saharan Africa. His areas of expertise include market assessments, feasibility studies, design of renewable energy systems, rural electrification and policy analysis.
Federico has professional experience in both the public sector – providing advice to Governments, bi-lateral and multi-lateral agencies – and the private sector, having participated in projects in diverse industries including telecommunications, tourism and finance. Federico holds a double MSc degree in Energy and Environment from Ecole de Mines de Nantes (France) and Kungliga Tekniska Hogskolan (Sweden).
