ECA has been asked to advise the Regulator’s Market Monitoring Unit strategy for reporting on and detecting potential for abuse in the new I-SEM market in which a gross pool market is being replaced by voluntary day ahead and intraday markets and a new balancing market where bidding and pricing strategies will be more complex.
