The government of the DRC is committed to increasing access to electricity from the current very low levels which prevail across this vast country. ECA, in partnership with the Congolese firm SADER, has been contracted to identify pilot projects for World Bank funding and outline an electricity access scale-up strategy, paying particular attention to the role that the private sector can play in achieving access targets.
