ECA is to analyse the premia paid by acquirers of water companies in England and Wales, plus the returns made by investors in England’s listed water companies since privatization. The analysis will support ongoing efforts by the Consumer Council for Water to ensure water consumers in England and Wales pay a fair price for their water, while investors earn appropriate returns for their investments.
