Vietnam’s distribution network is facing the challenges of meeting demand growth in excess of 10% annually, rehabilitating existing rural grids and moving to a sustainable energy future. To support this, KfW is preparing a loan to the Power Corporations (distributors) serving Vietnam’s northern, central and southern regions. ECA, as part of a team led by SMEC New Zealand, is conducting financial and economic due diligence on projects for financing under the loan.
