The Independent Public Business Corporation (IPBC) have asked ECA to present pricing models for access of various generation technologies as well as the connection to and use of transmission and distribution networks by third parties in the Papua New Guinea electricity industry. The pricing models are to be consistent with PNG’s Third Party Access Code and Grid Code which have been adopted to enable electricity service providers to connect to existing transmission facilities of PNG Power. ECA will also submit a summary report to the IPBC.
