Richard is a Managing Consultant with over 10 years of experience in regulatory policy and analysis in the energy, water and transport sectors. His specific expertise includes regulations, tariff reviews, financing mechanisms, economic and financial analysis, renewables and private sector participation.
Over the past decade Richard has worked out of both London and New Zealand, where he has advised public and private clients (including energy businesses, regulators, government ministries, and international financiers) on a variety of projects throughout Europe, Asia-Pacific and Africa. He has experience as Team Leader/Project Manager on a number of different large consulting projects.
Richard is qualified in Economics and Operations Research to a post-graduate level and his quantitative skills include cost benefit analysis, financial modelling, econometrics and mathematical modelling.
